Looks good! Might be a bit light in colour and a little short in length as it’s quite a long weapon in the show, about floor to chest height in length.

Other than those minor points that though, it’s a good gaffi [emoji4]

I got motivated to finish reconstructing my shawl which then turned into finishing the belt and making the obi, which then turned into making the pants and also finishing up the arm wraps.  Then at that point I was done with the making part and then decided to start with the finishing.  Long story short, I had to ride the motivation train for as long as I could before I lost it.  Anyways, here’s where I am at currently, I know she’s not perfect, but I’m happy with her!

You’ve done a great job recreating a difficult costume that has lots of intricate details! Your wip will definitely help others [emoji4]

My only suggestion would be just to break up the weathering on the forehead a little and maybe to tone the ‘stripe’ weathering down a little as it’s quite bold. Really small things though.

This image is a bit dull so I’ve included a display reference which is more brightly lit.

It could be the lighting in your photo though so is just a suggestion [emoji4]

I hope all goes well with your submission when you are happy and ready for that part and look forward to seeing your trooping photos!

As always, great feedback!  I have addressed these concerns and toned these areas down with a touch of darker colors ;-)

Was able to do a test wear at a local con before approval to make sure everything held up and fit okay, she was well received by my fellow costumers and I was able to wear her for 3 hours.  Definitely a success!  Only left with some small tweaks for longevity improvements, getting closer to the finish line.IMG-7074.jpg

That sounds like a very successful test run!

I’ve had to make alterations to our 3 Tuskens as there’s stuff you find out after many troops you couldn’t have known when building.

Glad you were well received, rightly so as it’s it’s a striking costume anyway and you’ve created a great version!

All the best for clearance when it’s time for that[emoji4]
