Arcturus1020 Posted January 2, 2018 Author Posted January 2, 2018 Hold on...can everyone see all the photos from before?!?? I can. This is weird. Did Photobucket lift their 3rd party stuff??? Did I make this new album on Flickr for nothing?!? LOL https://www.flickr.com/photos/145219035@N04/albums/with/72157691018452514 1 Quote
thebrighton Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Nope, all your photos still show the standard Photobucket 3rd party sharing waffle. I'm surprised they've not gone bust yet 1 Quote
armadillozenith Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Great tutorial, Arcturus1020! Great results, people! 1 Quote
BigGeek Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Really great and thorough tutorial! Thanks for sharing it and the template with us! I've not started a Tusken just yet, but he's on my list eventually and I can see this coming in quite handy for that and likely many other potential builds. It also really helps to show those new to costuming (not me) how simple some projects can be. Time consuming, yes...but you did a wonderful job with all the photos and explanations, and I'd think just about anyone at any level would be able to follow these instructions if they desire to gain some good DIY experience. 1 Quote
armadillozenith Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) I'm about to begin bandolier belt builds (loving that alliteration) this week, so am looking keenly at any templates and how-to guides here! I notice the mounting loops/rear straps on these pouches would seem to leave plenty of slack - how does that work in practice? Do they tend to slip and slide around much on the belt? Is that a deliberate design feature.. to allow the wearer more freedom of movement? ..or so they are adaptable, to allow for carrying them attached to a broader belt, if necessary? Or is it simply copied faithfully from an original real-world bandolier type? Edited February 23, 2018 by armadillozenith Quote

You can adjust the belt loops if you like...they work just fine for me considering I tighten the belt around my waist and they don't slide at all. You can even make the pouches larger or smaller depending on your frame (or your phone, wallet, whatever you want to keep in them). Quote
Bselphfsu2 Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Has anyone figured out which bando this is? Looks like the Mauser C96 ammo belt which would make sense as this of course was Han’s gun base. Quote

Seriously though a nice find there, but nobody knows what the actual pouches were as of yet. Quote
davethedeal Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Thanks for the tutorial! I created a set of my own, with a few changes to the process along the way, and they look great. Quote
