MarsVoyager Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 My interpretation for a breakdown of the Tuskens in a different table form, giving five distinctly different Tuskens: I assumed that head B is used in scene 5. There are still some unidentified bandoliers. I distinguished the rifles and found: Rifle 1: I think this is the fourth rifle (having a distinct forestock) in the photo found here: http://www.kraytclan.com/forum/topic/1533-tusken-rifles-ep4/?p=13139 Rifle 2: In the collection of Gus Lopez, see http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=81161 Edit 2015-03-05: The rifle shown in the 501 CRL (since 2014-05-20) for ANH is really a TPM/AOTC type (having a scope). MarsVoyager Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 I found this amazing high resolution (3268x2176) photo of Peter Diamond:http://cdnvideo.dolimg.com/cdn_assets/f26d64b49e873dca0274944be35f8e55f7854516.jpg (update 2017-07-25: Sorry the link is now dead) It reveals a lot of details, the first thing I looked at was the outer robe fabric for head A, not seen quite as well in scenes 1, 6 and 7. I compare this rectangular weave with the other tuskens of ANH. Head B has a plain thin look in scene 7, not as heavy as A and I can't see any structure except wrinkling. From my favourite profile photo linked earlier. Head C from the photo in jtechlove's post above seems to have a twill pattern as is also seen in scene 1. A twill robe is also used for head B in the exhibitions WSMI and MoM. Quote

The one worn by Tusken B is from the Magic of Myth exhibition because I could not find a sharp picture of it from any other place, the respirator worn by C is from the picture above (jtechlove). An interesting conclusion is that the D respirator might be the same as A. Only the seam is not facing forward. MoM B is quite different, compare the possibly found part by garbz in http://www.kraytclan.com/forum/topic/4407-respirator-end/ The C respirator is possibly different from A/D, but I think it has the flared nuts. Edit: Up is left for A, C and D, and right for B. Does that overlapping end seam lip of the leather wrap really face upwards for A as stated in the 501 CRL? B is the bottom part of a jarless intake filter Quote

Fabric"C" is the exact same fabric that the High Sparrow's robes were in Game Of Thrones. I have no doubt that fabric "B" is a rough weave canvas Duck Cloth.
