  1. Stiffening a waist belt?

I would sandwich a piece of duct cloth between two layers of your main cloth. You can either sew 3 of the 4 sides than turn it inside out to hide seams. Or you can do the same process with a batting layer
  2. not sure where my wife got the elmers glue idea, but just searching around it seems like most people use either a strong hairspray, the g2b glues spray or some store version of g2b glued. Which is sprayed on a little before and some after the braiding is done. I would imagine you would wear plastic gloves and run the elmers glue through the hair by hand than braid since it has a longer dry time. I have not done it personally, I have read some cosplayers using elmers glue, but cant seem to find a tutorial online.
  3. actually my wife just suggested elmers glue, since it would be cheaper, and dries clear.
  4. Maybe that got 2 be glued hair spray at its max strength. sprayed on after the hair is braided. It should hold it for a very long time if not permanently
  5.
